SOS Children’s Villages Laos is a Member Association (MA) of the SOS Children’s Villages International federation, which is one of the largest non-for-profit organisation in the world dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it.  SOS Children’s Villages Laos has been active in  the country for more than 30 years. Through its program interventions in 6 provinces, SOS Children’s Villages Laos provides family like care, protection, education and community based programs to hundred of children and youth.


We advocate for the rights of children and young people, in alliance with a great diversity of partners. We are committed for safeguarding and protecting children in our programmes by having zero tolerance policy in this regard. We are further committed to provide a safe environment for staff and children, young people and adults with whom we work, where human rights are respected and upheld, and healthy relations fostered by building organizational systems, capacity, and awareness on PSHEA (Prevention and Protection against Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse) guidelines. Marketing Executive


Job Purpose: 

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive (Corporate Partnership Specialist) to join our team. This role focuses on raising funds through building and managing relationships with corporate partners and major donors in the local market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social impact, strong marketing and relationship management skills, and the drive to help expand our mission through strategic partnerships.


Location:  National Office, Vientiane, Laos

Project Duration: (Short term from  1 May,2025 - 30 April, 2026)possible to extend.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, approach, and secure new corporate and major donors in the local market to support fundraising targets.
  • Conduct research to identify potential corporate partners, arrange meetings, present partnership proposals, and follow up with due diligence processes.
  • Maintain and update corporate donor databases, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of donor information.
  • Manage donor retention activities, including issuing receipts, coordinating progress reports, and cultivating repeat donations.
  • Collaborate with regional and international offices on global corporate accounts and participate in specific campaigns, such as youth empowerment initiatives.

 

Person Specification

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate fundraising, sales, marketing, or key account management, preferably within the nonprofit or private sector.
  • Strong skills in relationship-building, sales presentations, and proposal writing.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills, with experience managing and analyzing donor or client databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including outside of regular working hours when needed, and to travel within the country.
  • Passion for social development, youth empowerment, and creating impact through partnerships.
