We’re looking for a highly motivated Legal Specialist (Permanent Full-Time) to join our growing team in Vientiane Capital, Laos.

Responsibilities:

• Contractual Strategy: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and advise stakeholders on contract-related matters.
• Advanced Legal Research & Advisory: Provide legal assessments requested by regional office or local stakeholders from time to time.
• Corporate Secretarial Management: Preparation of board resolutions, annual declarations to the Ministry of Commerce, and ensure compliance with the Law on Commercial Enterprises.
• Legal Operations & Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for the local legal function.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Law or a related legal discipline
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in legal and compliance roles
• Comprehensive knowledge of Lao legal and regulatory frameworks
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and legal agreements under Lao law
• Proven ability to assess legal and compliance risks with precision and develop robust solutions within the Lao context
• Proficiency in standardizing agreement frameworks and Service Level Agreements across multiple agreement categories
• Advanced analytical capabilities to evaluate legal matters and provide strategic counsel to organizational stakeholders
• Fluency in written and spoken English
