Job Descriptions:
The Supply Chain Business Controller is responsible for partnering with the Supply Chain team to provide financial planning, analysis, reporting, cost control, and decision support. The role ensures effective cost management, capital efficiency, compliance, and business performance while supporting strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Support the preparation of the 3-Year Strategic Plan, Annual Plan, and Latest Estimates for Supply Chain.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles with Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Coordinate weekly production planning from a financial perspective.
- Ensure planning assumptions and forecasts align with business objectives.
2. Financial Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Prepare financial and operational reports related to Supply Chain activities.
- Monitor actual costs versus budget and forecasts.
- Identify cost deviations and provide early warning signals to management.
- Deliver insights to improve operational and financial performance.
3. Supply Chain Business Management:
- Manage and coordinate submissions for Brewery Comparison System (BCS) and Supply Chain Driving System (SCDS).
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Supply Chain reporting.
- Lead Supply Chain information system and reporting improvement projects.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and business insights when required.
4. Business Partnering & Decision Support:
- Support Supply Chain leadership in key business decisions.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and financial modelling.
- Develop business cases and scenario planning for investments and strategic initiatives.
- Drive cost optimization, productivity improvements, TPM and TCM initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, support new product development, and evaluate investment opportunities.
5. Control, Compliance & Risk Management:
- Strengthen internal controls and governance within Supply Chain.
- Support policy and process development.
- Assess risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation actions.
- Ensure compliance with HEINEKEN standards and internal control requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Brewery Administration:
- Manage administrative activities for the brewery, including casual worker payments and purchasing-related support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance/Business Controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong FP&A, business partnering, cost management, and financial analysis skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Fluent English; Lao language is an advantage.
