Job Title: Project Coordinator for Carbon and Stove Donation Projects in Laos

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate individual who is enthusiastic about carbon reduction projects and donation projects. The main responsibilities include overseeing the distribution of stoves, uploading data, and conducting basic surveys for stove projects.

Laos project: The locally produced improved cookstoves replace the traditional three-stone for cooking. The ICS consumes less wood fuel for cooking with higher thermal efficiency. Moreover the ICS put less strain on the environment with fewer trees needed to be cut down and less greenhouse gas emissions. So the ICS project also protects forest and biodiversity.

The avoided greenhouse gas emissions are carefully monitored across the crediting period under the related carbon standards.

We plan to produce and donate about 100000 improved cookstoves in provinces of Phongsaly, Oudomxay, Luang Namtha, Luang Prabang, and Khammouane of Laos. Among these, we have already distributed and donated over 6,000 improved cookstoves in Oudomxay.

The modality of working style will be 50% remote and 50% field as assigned. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the distribution of stoves to ensure timely and accurate.
• Coordinate/liaise with central and local government officials for project implementation and make sure the communication meets the requirement.
• Upload and manage project data efficiently.
• Conduct basic field surveys and assessments for stove projects.
• Support and contribute to carbon reduction and philanthropic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English.
• Good communication both Lao and English
• Strong enthusiasm for carbon reduction and charitable donation projects.
• Ability to drive (preferred but not mandatory).
