Key Responsibilities

Vendor Onboarding

  • Identify potential vendors across target categories, including restaurants, cafés, bars, attractions, and lifestyle businesses.
  • Visit vendors in person to introduce Tripbuddy, explain the key factors of the platform, and answer their questions.
  • Build trust with vendor owners and managers, and encourage long-term participation on the platform.
  • Negotiate listing terms and partnership agreements where needed.


Advertising Sales

  • Identify potential advertising customers, including local businesses, brands, hotels, tour operators, and other companies that want to reach travelers in Laos.
  • Present Tripbuddy's advertising and promotion options clearly, and recommend the right package for each customer.
  • Manage the full sales process, from first contact and proposal through to signed agreement and payment.


Onboarding and Account Management

  • Register new vendors and advertising customers into the TripBuddy system accurately and completely.
  • Edit, update, and correct vendor and customer information as needed, ensuring all details on the platform are current and reliable.
  • Handle the end-to-end process for each partner, from first meeting to active listing, including troubleshooting any issues that come up.
  • Provide ongoing support to existing partners, helping them update photos, menus, offers, and other information.


General

  • Maintain clear records of all contacts, meetings, agreements, and follow-up actions.
  • Report weekly on pipeline, signed partners, and advertising revenue.
  • Share feedback from vendors and customers with the wider team to help improve the product and the partner experience.


Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly to business owners and decision-makers.• Confidence in face-to-face meetings, including cold visits to new vendors.
  • Sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to follow through from first contact to closed agreement.
  • Good organizational skills, with attention to detail when registering and updating partner information.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, basic forms, and standard business tools.
  • Fluent in Lao; working knowledge of English is required for working with international clients and internal documents.
  • Willingness to travel locally and spend time on the ground with vendors and customers.
