Position: IT Programming Officer

Department: IT Planning Department

Location: Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR

Job Summary

The IT Programming Officer will support the company’s digitalization, system development, and operational automation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to improve internal systems and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• System Development
  1. Develop and maintain internal systems and applications
  2. Support automation projects and process improvement initiatives
  3. Improve operational workflow through technology solutions
• Programming & Database
  1. Write, test, and maintain program code
  2. Support database management and data processing
  3. Troubleshoot and fix system issues
• IT Support
  1. Support users regarding system-related issues
  2. Coordinate with vendors or external developers if required
• Documentation & Security
  1. Maintain proper system documentation
  2. Support basic IT security and backup management

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  2. Fresh graduates are welcome; experience is an advantage
• Skills & Competencies
  1. Basic programming knowledge (Web/App/System Development)
  2. Knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  3. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript or related technologies
  4. Problem-solving mindset
  5. Willingness to learn and develop
  6. Good teamwork and communication skills
• Preferred Skills (Advantage)
  1. Experience with ERP or finance-related systems
  2. Experience with automation tools or reporting systems
  3. Knowledge of networking or server management
