About Company:

Burapha Agroforestry is a plantation and wood products company with established eucalyptus plantations and plywood mill in Laos. Established in 1993, the company has a goal of developing a timber plantation asset in Laos large enough to serve as the primary wood supplier for a major industrial operation. 

This role will be based at Nabong Nursery, Seanoudome village, Xaythany District, Vientiane Capital, Site base roster 11 days on 3 days off.

Job Overview

Operate on R&D key activities, which including: Tree improvement program, R&D nursery and R&D trial operation at both site of field and station work for the Breeding and R&D Nursery program of control pollination, genetic conservation (clone bank, new potential genetic input, pollen and seed capture and storage), R&D seedling propagation and R&D trial operation, including trial establishment, trial management, data measurement and data entry /ດຳເນິນວຽກຫຼັກກ່ຽວກັບກິດຈະກຳວຽກການທົດລອງ ແລະຄົ້ນຄວ້າ-ວິໄຈ ເພື່ອການປັບປຸງພັດທະນາສາຍພັນພືດ ຫຼືຕົ້ນໄມ້, ການຜະລິດເບ້ຍໄມ້ ແລະວຽກກ່ຽວກັບງານທົດລອງ ທັ້ງວຽກພາກສະໜາມ ແລະຍູ່ໃນສະຖານີເຮັດວຽກ ໃນການຜະສົມພັນດອກໄມ້ ການເກັບກຳ-ຮັກສາພັນທຸກຳພືດ (ສວນແມ່ພັນ, ເກັບກຳສາຍພັນພືດ, ເກັບກຳ-ຮັກສາ ເກສອນດອກໄມ້ ແລະແກ່ນໄມ້) ແລະວຽກງານທົດລອງໃນການສ້າງສວນທົດລອງ, ການຈັດການສວນທົດລອງ, ການເກັບກຳຂໍ້ມູນສວນທົດລອງ ແລະການລົງຂໍ້ມູນເພື່ອການວິເຄົາະ

Key Responsibilities:

• Station work operation of control pollination, grafting of new potential genetic for input to Breeding program. /ດຳເນິນໜ້າວຽກຍູ່ສະຖານີເຮັດວຽກໃນການຜະສົມພັນດອກໄມ້ ແລະ ການຂະຫຍາຍພັນພືດສຳຫຼັບໂຄງການປັບປຸງພັດທະນາສາຍພັນພືດ
• Station work operation of R&D seedling propagation /ດຳເນິນໜ້າວຽກກ່ຽວກັບການຜະລິດເບ້ຍໄມ້ ເພື່ອການທົດລອງ ແລະຄົ້ນຄວ້າ-ວິໄຈ
• Station and field work operation of genetic conservation of clone bank, pollen and seed capture and storge/ດຳເນິນວຽກທັ້ງພາກສະໜາມແລະສະຖານີເຮັດວຽກກ່ຽວກັບການເກັບກຳເຊື່ອພັນທຸກຳພືດໃໝ່ໆ(ແນວພັນພືດ) ແລະການເກັບຮັກສາ ສຳຫຼັບ ແມ່ພັນ, ລະອອງເກສອນ, ແລະແກ່ນໄມ້
• Field work operation of R&D trial, including materials preparation, trial establishment, trial management, data measurement and data capture /ດຳເນິນໜ້າວຽກກ່ຽວກັບງານທົດລອງ ໃນການກະກຽມວັດສະດຸ-ອຸບປະກອນສຳຫຼັບວຽກງານທົດລອງ, ການສ້າງສວນທົດລອງ, ການຈັດການສວນທົດລອງ, ການເກັບກຳຂໍ້ມູນສວນທົດລອງ ແລະການລົງຂໍ້ມູນ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ດຳເນິນໄປຕາມແຜນວຽກຍ່າງຖືກຕ້ອງຈົນສຳເລັດຕາມກະບວນການທີ່ໄດ້ວາງໄວ້ຂອງວຽກງານທົດລອງແຕ່ລະໂຄງການ
• Report and progress update to the Commander  /ລາຍງານໜ້າວຽກ ຫຼືຄວາມກ້າວໜ້າວຽກຕໍ່ຫົວໜ້າສາຍງານ

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher educated are related on Plant biology, Plant genetic, Agriculture (Horticulture or Agronomy) and Forestry or other related filed to Agricultural and Forestry
• ຈົບປະລິນຍາຕີ ຫຼື ມີການສຶກສາສູງກວ່າ ທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງກັບຊີວະວິທະຍາພືດ, ພັນທຸກໍາພືດ, ກະສິກໍາ (ການປູກພືດສວນ ຫຼື ການປູກຝັງ) ແລະ ປ່າໄມ້ ຫຼື ອື່ນໆທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງກັບກະສິກໍາ ແລະ ປ່າໄມ້.
• At least a motorbike driver’s licence 
• ມີໃບຂັບຂີ່ລົດຈັກ.
• At least 2 years experienced on Eucalyptus or plant/forest breeding or tree improvement and experimental or related field to R&D operation. 
• ມີປະສົບການຢ່າງໜ້ອຍ 2 ປີກ່ຽວກັບການປູກຕົ້ນວິກ ຫຼື ການປັບປຸງພັນພືດ/ປ່າໄມ້ ຫຼື ການປັບປຸງຕົ້ນໄມ້ ແລະ ຂົງເຂດການທົດລອງ ຫຼື ຂົງເຂດທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງກັບການດຳເນີນງານຄົ້ນຄວ້າ ແລະ ພັດທະນາ.
• Have basic background and understanding on plant botanical, plant growth regulators (PGR), plant/forest production, plant breeding and experimental design.

• Honesty, discreet, diligent patient, duties responsibility, punctually, dare to suggest and consult with the Commander
