Engineer

The Engineer is responsible for product design, product development, product production processes, programming and drawings.

Detailed job related duties

The Engineer shall do the following to accomplish the above :

• Design new products, with inputs form the General Manager/Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager and HQ
• Review all product criteria from the customer
• Provide drawings for production that are easy to understand for all workers
• Create and review Bill of material on availability, ease of use, cost etc.
• Maintain drawing revisions and drawing control
• Create process flows for production and communicate these to planning
• Support production to produce the products in accordance with the drawings
• Provide First Article Inspections and inspection sheet for Production and QC
• Gives continues feedback to Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager related to engineering and production related processes
•  Program new parts in SolidCam for CNC mill.
•  Review and update existing programs for efficiency and quality improvements
• Anything the Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager deems necessary

Qualification(s)

The Engineer shall have following qualifications:

• Lao nationality.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or manufacture engineering field, or the equivalent level of experience
• Have a good systematic thinking and analytical skills
• Good understanding of production techniques, such as milling, turning, tapping, etc.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Able to control and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaborative with individuals in the organization in a team environment
• Ability to work closely together with foreign management
• Computer skill for MS Officer
• Experience with SolidWorks and SolidCam is a preferred.
• Experience in CNC mill/lathe machines, Manual mill/lathe is a preferred.
