Phu Bia Mining Limited is a Lao-registered company, 90 per cent owned by PanAust, an Australian-headquartered copper and gold mining company, with the Government of Laos owning the remaining 10 per cent. Phu Bia Mining owns and operates two award winning operations – Phu Kham Copper-Gold and Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver, both located in Xaisomboun Province, 120km north of Vientiane.

Site-based employees work a roster of 20 days on, 8 days off; 9 days on, 5 days off; or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per week with 2 days off.

Reporting to Development Superintendent, you will play the role for arranging transportation (bus and boat bookings), handling purchase requisitions and following up on purchase orders, and managing the issuance of PPE for staff. It also includes maintaining and updating roster and inflight records, overseeing e-assessment records, and ensuring training rooms are properly managed and prepared.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Arrange transportation (bus and boat bookings)
• Submit purchase requisitions (PR) and follow up on purchase orders (PO)
• Issue and manage PPE for staff
• Update and maintain roster and inflight records
• Maintain and manage e-assessment records
• Manage training rooms and related arrangements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Degree in business administrative or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in administrative work; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
• Basic proficiency in English
• Proficiency in MS Office is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Self-motivated with good time management and coordination skills
