Profile/

Qualification

  • Degree equivalent in business management, tourism development with focus on Eco-tourism and community-based or other relevant fields.

  • Activity & budget planning & management; M&E & reporting; basic gender theory & practice

  • Min 5 years of professional experience, community-based development, and rural development

  • Familiarity with donor-funded INGO project management approaches (PCM, participatory planning, gender/inclusion).

  • Multi-task & prioritize effectively; data collection, reporting & critical analysis; group facilitation; multi-stakeholder dialogue & engagement; knowledge of gender, ethnicity & inclusive approaches

  • Self-directed, reliable, professional; fair & objective; honest

  • Commitment to development effectiveness principles & objectives; open, flexible, dynamic, inclusive & collaborative; strong communication & inter-personal skills

  • English-effective, Lao

  • Microsoft Office programs including excel, word, power point; email & internet
