PTL Holding is urgently seeking for a well-rounded individual for the role of Business Development Manager under the Business Development Department.   

 

Position Title:       Business Development Manager

Department:         Business Development

Report to:             Senior Manager and CEO

Location:               Vientiane Capital 

Business group:   PTL Holding (PTLH)

 

Job purpose:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. This role involves market research, strategic planning, and collaboration with internal teams to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's objectives.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Business Growth & Strategy

- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

- Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

- Work closely with senior management to align business development initiatives with company objectives.

2. Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

- Act as a primary point of contact for new and existing clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions.

- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships to maximize business opportunities.

- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.

3. Sales & Revenue Generation

- Drive sales initiatives by identifying potential customers and converting leads into clients.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.

- Track and report on sales performance, providing recommendations for improvement.

4. Market Research & Analysis

- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and business opportunities.

- Analyze data to understand customer needs and preferences, tailoring business strategies accordingly.

- Prepare reports and presentations on market insights, competitive analysis, and business performance.

5. Networking & Partnerships

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.

- Develop partnerships with industry leaders, government agencies, and other organizations.

- Explore opportunities for joint ventures, collaborations, and strategic alliances.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (Bachelor degree above).

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

- Proven track record of success in driving business growth and revenue generation.

- Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and sales strategies.

- Experience in contract negotiation, proposal development, and client relationship management.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Office-based with occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Flexible working hours based on business needs.
