This is an exciting time to join PanAust and our subsidiary company, Phu Bia Mining in Laos. Our Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation and our Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation in Laos are both delivering strong production and cost performances and are targeted to reach peak production over the next few years. In addition, the PanAust Group is progressing well in its Stage 1 Feasibility Study of the newly acquired Frieda River Copper Project in PNG.

Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery & Commercial Manager, you will play a key role to provide expertise contributing to the effective operation of Applications across the PanAust group.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain business stakeholder engagement matrix with IT Leadership group
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company
- Work in Partnership with Business Stakeholders to clearly define new initiatives and the value they are expected to deliver
- Assist the business with the development of Business Cases where required to validate the value and justification for new initiatives
- Keep abreast of industry trends in Mining Technology, new solutions available in the market, and product roadmaps for current solutions used by PanAust
- Act as the primary point of contact for Operations initiatives requiring technology support, providing information and support to stakeholders as needed
- Drive ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders, managing a suite of forums to understand the ongoing pipeline of work for business.
- Facilitate a prioritisation forum for minor enhancements
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure approved initiatives are delivered to meet business outcomes
- Work internally with the IT team to align the Technology Roadmap with business priorities
- Ensure project pipeline information is complete and up to date to support ongoing prioritisation and planning
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field. Relevant certifications in Project Management are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Demand Lead, Project Coordinator, or in a similar role, with a focus on business engagement and business case development.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate business requirements into initiative/project briefs
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and effectively manage expectations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
