JOB SUMMARY: 

As the QA/QC Lead at IQURI Tech, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team to ensure that all software products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, security, and performance. You will design and implement QA processes, manage test planning and execution, and ensure that all projects are tested effectively across web, mobile, and backend systems. Reporting to the Head of Software Development, you will collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, including junior, mid-level, and senior QA engineers.
• Define and maintain QA strategy, test plans, processes, and automation frameworks.
• Oversee manual and automated testing of web, mobile, and backend systems across projects.
• Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and quality checkpoints.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Monitor and report quality metrics to stakeholders, including release readiness and defect trends.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA practices, tools, and team skills.
• Coordinate and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with clients and product teams.
• Promote a culture of quality, ownership, and accountability across the engineering teams

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and software testing best practices.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with writing test cases, test scripts, and QA documentation.
• Familiarity with API testing, database validation, and cross-platform mobile testing.
• Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

PROBATION PERIOD:

This role includes a probationary period of 3 months, during which your performance and fit within the company will be evaluated. During this probationary period, you will receive 80% of the committed salary. Upon successful completion of the probation period, your salary will be adjusted to the full agreed-upon amount.
