JOB ANNOUCEMENT

1. Logistics Officer

We are recruiting Logistic Officer to work in the Logistics Department at our garment factory in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

The person we are looking for is a highly qualified garment professional with knowledge of import and export management to ensure high quality and efficient logistics.

The job:

• Be proficient in customs document preparation, Import/export declaration and related jobs including liaising with the Customs department and related authorities to complete the job assigned.
• Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways. Follow up all customs documentation and shipments in transit or at border gate awaiting clearance and avoid delays and extra storage or demurrage cost.
• Execute logistics plans to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule. Check information from shipping or trucking company to have specific import & export plan.
• Do and check import and export schedule with production on regular basis including follow up of loading/ unloading plans and container trucking movement.
• Knowing clearly how to classify commodities, specify exact HS codes and Master List for goods Import.
• To coordinate and constantly communicate with Mascot Vietnam Logistics department on all shipping and production warehouse issues, guide and supervise warehouse controller to troubleshoot arising work and SAP errors.
• Other jobs as requested by a senior officer or assistant logistics Manager.

Qualifications required:

• Fluent in English and translation skills Eng-Lao/Lao-Eng.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and translation skills VN-ENG/ENG-VN.
• Bachelor’s degree required, in related filed of Finance, Accounting & Logistics.
• Good computer skills of Microsoft office, Excel, Word etc.
• Strong time management and Planning skills.
• Good knowledge of Laos customs law is required.
• Experience working in logistics at least 1-3 years.
