1. Senior IT Officer

We are hiring a Senior IT Officer to work in our IT team in our garment factory in Vientiane in Lao PDR. The person we are searching for is a proactive and dynamic team player who thrives in a hectic environment and who focuses on getting things done.

In general:

• Responsible for a seamless operation of the IT systems at Mascot Laos. This involves the management of Mascots IT equipment and the employees working with IT.

Specific duties:

• Responsible for a seamless operation of the IT systems at Mascot Laos. This involves the management of Mascots IT equipment and the employees working with IT.
• Responsible for user administration. Creates, modifies, and deletes users in Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SAP in conjunction with the Danish IT department.
• Responsible for educating IT users and improving their skills in terms of application use.
• Supports the hardware and software installed at the various locations in Laos, mainly servers, personal computers, printers, and networking equipment.
• Eliminate errors and repairs equipment which is not working correctly.
• Part of the Vietnam helpdesk and supports PC users when they experience problems with their IT equipment or the applications they use.
• In charge of managing Company internal networking in conjunction with the networking of Mascot in DK and other regions. Ensure the security of the system.
• Responsible for checking the quality of the IT equipment purchased.
• Creating user accounts gives user rights and deletes users when leaving the Company.
• Other required tasks are commensurate with your position and level of responsibility, if any.

Qualification and Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information system or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
• Knowledge of IP Camera. IP phone and IoT system.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.
• At least 5 years’ experience working in IT operations.
• Strong time management and Planning skills.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft office, Excel, Word etc.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
