The Singapore Mission School has been providing holistic education in English and Lao to students over the past 15 years in Vientiane. We are moulding and raising our students holistically to positively influence their community and country through excellent service in all sectors of society.

Role - Human Resource Executive

We are seeking a Human Resource Executive to join a small close knit office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for HR functions within the school and provide the Principal with HR support.

Responsibilities:

- advertise vacancies for SMS roles and review applications.

- assist in shortlisting candidates and conduct initial phone interview.

- schedule interviews and follow-ups.

- provide translation during interviews if required. (Lao to English & vice versa)

- ensure recruitment process is completed for successful candidates

- onboard new joinees to school community.

- maintain and update all current school staff members' details. (including leave, medical, personnel details)

- offboard members of the staff.

- assist Principal in all HR related matters.

- assist with employee related enquiries in relation to HR policies, procedures and benefits.

- assist with Staff Welfare events and matters.

- assist with all staff training matters and facilitate any staff initiatives.

- co-ordinate and work with other staff members to ensure efficiency and smooth operation of school and office activities.

Skills and Qualifications

- must have prior HR experience.

- must be fluent in English and Lao. 

- possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or other related fields.

- have a good understanding of Lao labor laws and compliance regulations for Lao nationals and foreigner nationals.

- have strong interpersonal and good communication skills 

- be a team player in small close knit team and complete tasks in a timely manner.

- be able to work independently and pay attention to details.

- be able to multi-task and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
