1. Supervisor - Safety

Work location: Xekong Power Plant Co.,ltd (XPPL), Kaleum District, Xekong Province. 

Working day: 45 days, off: 8 days including travelling days (9 hours/day).

Duty Description: To ensure that all workplace complies with all safety regulations XPPL’s policy. Supervisors keep abreast of updates regulations and make necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of delivery of safety strategies 
• Providing the required daily work permits (permit to work) and clearances for construction activities
• Provide quality advice to the organisation with regards to incident investigation and rick avoidance strategies
• Provide regular coaching to the line in conducting visible leadership activities
• Conduct audits against safety procedures and processes and help manage site compliance
• Review and participate in the development of the construction firm’s JSEAs 
• Identify and action any SHEC non-compliance issues
• Collating and reporting on the Health, Safety and Environmental statistics for the project
• Attend monthly SHEC meetings, weekly planning meetings, daily planning meetings and daily prestart meetings
• Liaising with other departments on SHEC related matters. Always demonstrate safe behaviors and comply with XPPL’s standards and procedures in SHEC.
• Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed safety goals that support the department site and company standards.

Qualification Required:

• Higher Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in the mining industry in the field of Workplace Health and safety supervisor level
• Cert IV with the ability to present training packages
• Ability to communicate in English or Vietnamese is in advance
