We have recently launched our newest service, pandamart, a strategically located point of grocery distribution established to fill the other essential lifestyle needs of our delivery customers with a broad and deep network of curated products to fit all our customers’ needs.

We are looking for an experienced Head of pandamart to lead our journey of expanding into new businesses. This is a high-visibility role and the right person will require a strong entrepreneurial drive, experience managing a team and the ability to scale the business fast. You will set ambitious targets and build a high-performing organization to achieve strong growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ownership of P&L for a new business: drive top line revenues while optimizing bottom line expenses.
• Recruit, on-board and coach a high-performing team to achieve ambitious targets.
• Plan and manage a successful launch, ensuring all aspects of the launch are well executed.
• Drive the Commercial team to actively reach out to key suppliers, negotiate great deals and maintain a strong, ongoing relationship.
• Drive the Operational team to ensure speed, efficiency and scalability of Operational processes.
• Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Keep a close eye on commercial, operational and financial KPIs; step in when certain metrics need improvement.
• Liaise closely with regional teams and with other countries to understand best practices and tailor it to local needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s Degree with at least 8+ years of experience preferred
• Prior experience in starting a business from scratch and managing a P&L is a strong asset.
• General Management experience - understanding the basics of all functions, especially operations and commercials.
• Very high level of ownership and entrepreneurial drive.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
• Stakeholder Management - work with local & regional leadership to align on priorities and highlight bottlenecks.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Prior experience in FMCG/Groceries not a must, but highly preferred.
