REDD+ Cooperation Office (Center) between the Republic of Korea and Lao PDR was established on October 9th 2024, based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Republic of Korea and Lao PDR to implement Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. It aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions for climate change mitigation and promote sustainable development.
