DataVerse Consulting Pte. Ltd. is a consulting company based in Laos, specializing in supporting international development organizations, government entities, and businesses in various areas related to management support and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). DataVerse (DV) designs, develops, and operates management and monitoring systems, cloud databases, surveys and assessments, and also facilitates workshops and conducts trainings. Throughout years of experience, our consultants have developed creative approaches and technical solutions for information- and general management. Our solutions often combine online and offline features and are tailored towards the needs of the client.

Having implemented a large number of face-to-face and phone surveys and assessments, over time we have developed a comprehensive toolbox for all survey stages, and we believe in the complementarity of quantitative and qualitative methods for surveys. Our survey results are highly visualized (using charts and tables) and translate complex sets of data into clear and useful messages. Our considerable MS Excel proficiency underpins most of our technical work, and we have been able to use the program successfully for many surveys. For data collection in the field, DV utilizes paper as well as mobile phone applications such as KOBO. For data analysis, we use a combination of Google Sheets and Excel. 

Our various types of online/cloud/digitalized Databases have been proven functional by 1000s of users of the years and supported several large-scale projects and government entities in their monitoring and management. Having been involved in the operations of these systems, we have been able to fine-tune our approaches and technical features and are now able to provide functional and easy-to-use digital solutions for a multitude of situations.

Throughout our work, we often also facilitate planning and review workshops, support report-drafting and provide close institutional support to our clients through formal and informal trainings and personal mentoring.

Since 2018, starting with a team of 2, DataVerse Team has continuously expanded, both in size and in the scope of what we do, now consisting of close to 40 junior, mid-range and senior consultants, mostly operating from our Vientiane Capital office.
