Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) is a government organization affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Republic of Korea. KOFIH provide health-specialized Official Development Assistance (ODA) which is government-level assistance for partner countries. In Lao PDR, KOFIH has its Country Office in Vientiane Capital focusing on comprehensive partnership across the health sector, including the improving the quality of care for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child adolescent health though strengthening healthcare system (RMNCAH), communicable diseases control (CDC), strengthening management system of the medical equipment (BME), hospital operation and management consulting project for the university of health science hospital (UHS), and national health insurance (NHI) since 2010.
