In Laos, PanAust owns a 90 per cent interest in the Lao-registered company, Phu Bia Mining. The Government of Laos owns the remaining 10 per cent. Phu Bia Mining owns and operates PanAust Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation and Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation.

Site-based employees work a roster of 19 days on, 9 days off or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per week with 2 days off.

Reporting to Administration Supervisor and Mobile Maintenance Superintendents, you will play a key part in admin team for all Mobile Maintenance administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining document control and filing systems
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Coordinating the team rosters and annual leave forms
  • Updating Monthly report, timesheet, Summary Invoices, man-hours and contactor labour
  • Assisting in verbal and written translation from English – Lao and Lao – English languages
  • Data entry into Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP) – Including time confirmations, work order management etc.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications in Business Administration or related field
  • Previous experience in an administration or office management role
  • Very good in written and verbal communication skills in English and Lao languages is desirable
  • Can work in team and maintain focus under pressure
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite is Essential
  • Self-motivated and have good time management and organisational skills.
