NATIONAL PROJECT OFFICER

The successful candidate will be based in Vientiane, Lao PDR and will be responsible for implementing a high-quality, results-oriented counter trafficking-in-persons (TIP) programme in Laos that will seek to assist the Government to bolster law enforcement efforts to more aggressively deter, investigate, and prosecute trafficking.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Master’s level degree with two years’ work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least four years’ relevant work experience. Successful candidates will have strong project management skills as well as relevant experience working with national prosecutors and other law enforcement agencies in Laos. Prior experience implementing anti-trafficking programs in Laos at national and local levels is desirable. Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken) in English and Lao is required. Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
