This is an exciting time to join PanAust and our subsidiary company, Phu Bia Mining in Laos. Our Phu Kham Copper-Gold
Operation and our Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation in Laos are both delivering strong production and cost performances
and are targeted to reach peak production over the next few years. In addition, the PanAust Group is progressing well in its
Stage 1 Feasibility Study of the newly acquired Frieda River Copper Project in PNG.

great Lao, Asian and Western food, sport and recreational facilities and housekeeping services. Site-based employees work a
roster of 20 days on, 8 days off or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per
week with 2 days off.

Reporting to the Infrastructure and Road Maintenance (IRM) Superintendent, you will be responsible for various aspects of
civil design including Buildings; concrete structures and some aspects of drainage for projects across the Phu Kham facilities.
The Civil Supervisor shall ensure that PBM procedures and best practices are applied to the work scopes and measurement
and provide alternative solutions where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Qualified with Earth work preparing for site set up, Concrete work (Rebar, Formwork, Anchor bolts set up and Concrete
  • pouring ), Batching plant monitoring of concrete quality and Concrete volume monitoring as well
  • Providing support to the Construction Superintendent and Senior Engineer for design works
  • Provide construction methodology input to allocated projects
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders and contractors to update the construction drawings
  • Specifying and selecting the material for construction
  • Ensure all civil works are executed as per project schedule and safety requirements
  • Complete Daily Report in accordance with Infrastructure and Road Maintenance (IRM) Procedure

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Road & Bridge Construction, Irrigation, Architect or related field
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Civil AutoCAD 3D
  • amiliar with STADD Pro2006 or Grasp or Gear software or Robot structural Analysis
  • Familiar in the use of MS Excel function
  • Excellent inter-personnel skills
