Plan Laos is looking for position:

Finance and Admin Officer (based in Saravan District, Saravan Province) 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare payment voucher and check for finance admin coordinator to review for next approve
  • Monitoring to ensure that all payment requests are in compliance with approved budgets, account codes following the financial procedures
  • To manage all visits ie, vehicle rental, hotel booking and other logistics relate to WFP Grant
  • Provide support on Purchase/acquire/deliver fixed assets, goods & services for WFP program as required
  • Prepare the Purchase Order as prescribed in the Finance Manual as required
  • Assign Inventory Number for every Fixed Assets purchased/acquired as needed
  • Assisting to Manage of repairing and maintenance of fixed assets, office equipment and computer related items with input from the ICT

Requirements:

  • Degree level education or equivalent demonstrated ability essential (strong preference for Business Administration or related discipline)
  • Good inter personal and communication skills essential
  • Ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with government, suppliers, service providers and other agencies essential
  • Ability to manage own time and to set and meet priorities and deadlines without close supervision essential
  • Good computer skills (including Word and Excel) essential
  • Good written and spoken English and Lao essential
