The Literacy Program Officer (LPO), based in Attapue Province
The Literacy Program Officer (LPO) is responsible for serving as the technical expert in the field on library programming (library management and library reading activities) and the habit of reading. The LPO will manage the ongoing implementation of Room to Read libraries for a set of schools as a part of the World Food Program’s Reading Promotion Project. The LPO will ensure timely, efficient, well-planned, and wellcoordinated implementation. This position will involve frequent travel to project sites and close coordination with local partners, and thus requires strong communication and coordination skills. The LPO reports to the Sr. Literacy Program Manager.
