KOICA is supporting the “Integrated Programme for Climate Resilience and Empowerment” in Attapeu Province, Lao PDR, (2019~2023) in cooperation with Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. KOICA PIU is seeking a high skilled qualified and motivated Lao national to join our team as Health Officer. The work place will be Attapeu Province.
Job Title: Health Officer
Duration: 1 year with Possibility of Extension and 1month probation period
Since July 2018, Lao PDR has experienced significant damages and losses across the country due to heavy rains and flash flooding caused by tropical storms and the hydropower dam collapse in Attapeu Province.
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has been supporting the "Integrated Programme for Climate Resilience and Empowerment in Attapeu Province, Lao PDR" which focuses on Agriculture, Health, Skills Development, Disaster Risk Management and Child Protection to recover flood-affected area and to support flood affected victims and to enhance climate-resilience of Lao government system and people’s better condition of livelihood in Attapeu Province, by working with the government and local communities.
Under the direction of the Programme Manager, the officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process and works in close collaboration with relevant district offices such as Labour and Social Welfare Office, Ministry of Health(MoH).Provincial Health Office(PHO), District Health Office (DHO) and other relevant stakeholders.
