  • COVID-19 field photographer  Vacancy NoticeThe World Health Organization has a vacancy for the position of:COVID-19 field photographer for the period (1 Month)Purpose of the Post:The European Union (EU) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have partnered to support several Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries by providing 20 million euros on health system strengthening for COVID-19 preparedness and response under the “South East Asia Health Pandemic Response and Preparedness Project”.The priorities of the project focuses on ensuring that COVID-19 cases continue to be detected rapidly by strengthening points of entry, emergency operation centres (EOC) at central and provincial level, preparing for surge at quarantine and health facilities, increasing capacity for infection, prevention and control (IPC), water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and waste management.This consultancy will provide support on COVID-19 photography as requested under the EU project.Description of Duties:Under the supervision of senior communication consultant and the management of the WHO Representative, the company or consultant will be responsible for delivering the following:Output 1: Field photographyDeliverable 1.1: Ten days for field photography, including post-production of editing and captioning.Deliverable 1.2: About 80-100 photos covering EOC, quarantine and health facilities, point of entry, IPC, WASH and waste management, which can be used by EU for social media posts.Output 2: Support Ministry of Health on half day field photography trainingDeliverable 2.1 – Conduct a half day training for Centre of Communication and Education for Health (CCEH) staff.Deliverable 2.2 – Field coaching for CCEH staff on photography when on assignment documenting the responseQualificationsBasic degree in creative arts, media, film, photography or photo media.ExperienceA minimum of three years’ experience in professional photography. The consultant should have experience of working within the UN system or with UN partners. Direct experience with WHO is preferred.Skills and knowledgeKnowledge and skills in photographyLanguageWritten and spoken fluency in English is essential.
