  • HR Business Partner Exciting Career Opportunity at LXML Sepon Lane Xang Minerals Limited (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operations located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Since the commencement of operations in 2003, Sepon has produced over 900,000 tonnes of Copper and over 1.2 million ounces of Gold.With a recent change in ownership, an exciting opportunity has been available to be involved in an already highly successful Copper operation as it transitions to a future Gold operation over the next two to three years. An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated HR professional has become available at Sepon Mine.Position: HR Business Partner Department: Human Resources, Sepon Mine Key Responsibilities Work in partnership across multiple business groups to propose efficient HR solutions that are suitable to the business challenges and in line with contemporary HR policiesMediate and provide assistance to leadership team to ensure employee grievance and discipline issues are managed in accordance with LXML policy and legislative requirementsSupport the development and implementation of HR strategies and activities that improve the engagement, commitment, employee wellbeing and performanceProvide HR guidance, support and advice to the leadership team in order to ensure all employees are valued and respected in line with LXML Code of Conduct, HR policies and Lao Labour LawProvide advice to the management and employees in regards to the application and intent of HR strategies, policies and proceduresKeep up to date with employee relations and other relevant legislative changesProvide training and support to new and existing leaders to ensure key HR systems are understood and well embedded into operational practiceCriteria of Selection Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Law or Business related fieldFluent in English with Chinese an advantageUnderstanding of Lao Labour Law, Law on Social Security and a wide range of HR activities gained through formal education and/or work experiencePrevious experience in managing remuneration and benefits, investigations and dealing with complex workplace mattersProven experience in dealing with workplace relations third parties such as Trade Union or other government agenciesAbility to build strong relationships with key business stakeholder and external stakeholderStrong negotiation skills with a focus on win-win outcomesA collaborative style with an action/outcomes orientationAn attractive salary package including a performance based incentive and other benefits are on offer for this role.
