This position will mainly support farmers, farmer groups, formal and informal micro, small enterprises and the field officers and provide support to the team for medium and large business in the agricultural sector in Xiengkhouang province. (S)he will provide direct support and advice to the Chief of Party, Partnership Advisor, provincial and district authorities, and field officers and the private sector. S/he will be supervised by the Partnership Advisor. (S)he will provide Business Development training & technical assistance, connect business services and companies to micro-enterprises, and linkages to markets. HELVETAS is a partner in a consortium. Our vision is a just world in which all men and women determine the course of their lives in dignity and security, using environmental resources in a sustainable manner.Job titleSenior Field OfficerShort descriptionThe Senior Field Officer is responsible for the Lao Micro Enterprise Activity Program Project supported by USAID direct training, linkage and general support activities with smallholder farmers and village-based microenterprises at the village level in a district in Xiengkhouang. Under the direct supervision of the Training and Group Capacity Building Coordinator, s/he works closely with the stakeholders including farmers and other microenterprises (MEs), service providers, village leaders and District Government Officials.
