Plan offers competitive salaries and long-term employment opportunities for all posts.Provincial Education Manager, Base in Xay District, Oudomxay Province (Lao National)Duties and responsibilities: Develop quality annual, quarterly and monthly budget plan and narrative reports in line with approved Basic Education Program proposal Submit monthly program and financial reports the PESS and to PU Manager regularly Manage relationship with Provincial Education Sports and Service (PESS) in coordination with the other managers at PU managing team members Manage and monitor the grant budgets for BEP in the Provincial Level Professional capacity of education team members developed following a defined strategy and plan that supports the quality implementation and monitoring of the program Supervise, monitor and support the program’s Basic Education District Coordinators to ensure that activities are implemented according to Plan’s policies and regulation, and the program planRequirements: At least 5 years’ experience in teaching or supervising in education At least 2 years’ experience in education in rural, ethnic group areas Experience in community based education approaches is desirable Good knowledge of learner-centred approach and teaching methodology and pedagogy in generalFOR ALL PLAN POSITIONS: Strong commitment to the equal rights and participation of girls and women is essential Strong commitment to the Rights of the Child is essential Plan does not tolerate child abuse.
