You will provide responsive, professional, service and technical support to CRS staff and partners to ensure efficient operation and use of CRS information sharing, communication, and collaboration technologies.Job Responsibilities:With support from ICT Manager, maintain ICT systems, including networks, servers, telecommunications, as well as project databasesConfigure and maintain applications and user devices through the provision of timely and quality service delivery, technical support, and advice to user requestsMaintain inventory of ICT equipment, hardware, and software and ensure adequate supply and functionality, in collaboration with relevant staffSupport capacity building initiatives, remotely or on-site, to staff and partners to ensure efficient and consistent adoption and use of ICT applicationsSupport the implementation of project MEAL practices and activities that effectively engage partners, donors, and other relevant stakeholders and are compliant with agency and donor MEAL requirementsProvide input to and support project MEAL system implementation and data collection tools to measure program/project impact and progressMaintain program MEAL databases and support data cleaning as necessary.Typical Background, Experience & Requirements:Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in IT-related field (Computer Science, Computer Networking, Programming, and Information Systems) or significant work experience in a directly related field combined with appropriate training/certificatesMinimum of three years’ work experience in a position with similar responsibilitiesExperience in introduction, design, implementation, and adoption of relevant technology and data management toolsDemonstrated capacity in management of network/server software and hardware devices and platformsGrasp of complex network, security, mobile, desktop, server, telephony, backup, application and database technologiesExperience with ITSM and systems management tools preferredDesired certifications include Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate or equivalent, Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent, Microsoft SharePoint Foundations or equivalent and ITIL Foundation Certified.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated capacity in management of network/server software and hardware devices and platforms.Grasp of complex network, security, mobile, desktop, server, telephony, backup, application and database technologies.Experience with ITSM and systems management tools preferred.Personal Skills: Good relationship management skills with an ability to relate to people at all levels internally and externally with a strong client-service focusStrong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical ideas and concerns in a non-technical mannerStrategic, analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills, with capacity to see the big picture, make sound decisions, and offer non-standard solutionsAble to maintain confidential informationProactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-orientedDemonstrated experience building ICT capacity with professional staff Required/Desired Foreign Language:Fluency in oral and written English and Lao is required. Knowledge of Bru and other minority languages found in Savannakhet Province is highly preferred Travel Required: 20-30% to the Xepon District sub-office in Savannakhet Province and to LEAPS II target villages in Outomphone, Astaphone, Phin, Phalanxay, Nong, Vilabouly, and Sepon.
