More information on us can be found here www.halotrust.org.Role SummaryWorking under the supervision of the Head of Information Management (IM) you will provide key IT support within HALO’s Laos programme. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to accelerate their ICT career in a sector-leading organisation. This position is located at our office in Sepon, but may require travel to our office in Vientiane. The successful candidate will liaise with Head Office in the UK and external service providers in Laos to ensure systems are working to optimum levels.They are to lead by example and support other staff in the programme. More information on us can be found here www.halotrust.org.Role SummaryThe Database Administrator will be responsible for HALO Laos’ Database Management System. He will manage PostgreSQL (back-end) and MS Access (front-end) databases associated with ArcGIS software. He will assist with database maintenance, development, and reporting, as well mentoring staff members in optimizing and writing efficient SQL queries. The Database Administrator will also participate in the HALO’s information management and mapping activities. The Database Administrator will report to the IM Manager and Programme Officer (PO) and work alongside the rest of the data team.He leads by example and support other staff in the programme.
