During the past 25 years, we have safely found, removed and destroyed millions of landmines, bombs, and missiles.MAG has been working in Lao PDR since 1994 and delivers responsive and impact driven solutions that enable people affected by Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) to develop their futures in a safer environment. This is achieved by mitigating the effects hat UXO have on livelihoods, health and economic and social development of the communities and people in the province of Xieng Khouang and Khammouane.Duties and Responsibilities: Recording and monitoring all movements of stock that come in and out of the province. Ensuring that stock cards and records are updated daily, that minimum stock levels are maintained. Checking items received against purchase orders and completing GRN’s to ensure that items ordered are received to the correct specifications and in the correct quantity. Reporting discrepancies in quality and quantity within 24 hours of identifying issues. Reviewing stores requests for accuracy, verifying requests and picking items ready for dispatch to the field. Completing the required documentation and assisting with delivery to the field site as required. Being available at the beginning of the work period to help with the issue of stock and assets to teams. Ensuring all items issued are signed off and accounted by the appropriate individuals. Being available at the end of the work period to receive back any assets, equipment and unused stock into stores, ensuring documentation is signed and items accounted for by the appropriate individuals. Reporting any exceptions immediately to the PLC. Carrying out monthly stock checks, tidying stores, rotating stock, identifying items that are coming close to expiry or obsolete and making recommendations to the PLC. Ensure that no un-authorized personnel enter the MAG store and the store is locked and secured when not in use by authorized personnel Issue stock to staff based on authorised stores requests to enable people to perform their operational duties as required. Support the PLC and the Senior Logistics team with regular inspections and stock counts. Support the Fleet and Logistics team with the management and repair of equipment by ensuring items to be transported for maintenance or repair are shipped in a timely and secure manner, accompanied with all relevant paperwork. Completion of asset registers, asset management reports, disposal records as per MAG Laos’ policy and procedures. Report any suspicions of theft, fraud or corruption to your line manager or member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) immediately. Pack, label and make ready any equipment required for Vientiane or another province including all supporting paperwork, updating stock records accordingly. Issue ETF and Liaise with the Fleet team for available transport to the field Drive MAG vehicle if required or as directed by the line manager in accordance with the Driver Handbook and MAG’s policies and procedures. Support the Provincial Logistics Coordinator in preparing procurement paperwork, and obtaining authorised signatures. Check documents for accuracy, returning to the originator if there are errors. Assist with any local procurement as and when necessary. Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience Key components of the role are detailed above, however additional duties pertaining to stores management, asset management and procurement maybe occasional required. Fluent in Lao with good spoken English. Excellent attention to detail. Strong computer skills, especially excel. Confident with IT, including tablets, mobile phones and computers. High level of honesty and integrity. Respect MAG internal policies and requirement. Teamwork oriented. Excellent record keeping skills.
