  • LADLF Research and Evaluation Adviser Vacancy Announcement LADLF Research and Evaluation AdviserPosition Type: Long Term Advisers (LTA) – National or International Location: Vientiane, Lao PDR Input: Full-time until 30 June 2020, with possibility of extension until June 2021Established in January 2014, The Laos-Australia Development Learning Facility (LADLF) supports the Australian Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to deliver effective and efficient aid investments in Laos PDR. LADLF activities are primarily intended to serve DFAT needs and interests and are multifaceted, including studies, training sessions, process facilitation, and/or helpdesk advice.LADLF seeks to recruit a full-time Research and Evaluation Adviser (REA) to be based in the LADLF Office in Vientiane, and work in a small multidisciplinary team under the supervision of LADLF Director. The REA will be responsible for designing, leading and/or managing analytical activities, such as research and evaluation studies, training sessions, monitoring visits and dissemination workshops. The REA will report to the LADLF Director and be required to work closely with various stakeholders involved in the delivery of Australian aid in Laos PDR. These include Australian Embassy staff in Vientiane, Government of Laos Ministries and Departments staff, DFAT implementing partners, and local and international consultants.The Research and Evaluation Adviser will have the following core responsibilities:Manage and/or oversee analytical activities such as investment designs and large-scale evaluation studies. This includes responsibility for: the recruitment, mobilisation and training of service providers (e.g. firms and consultants); coordination and supervision of data collection and analysis; the drafting and quality assurance of reports; and the dissemination of analytical products.Assist in the delivery and dissemination of analytical findings through responsive engagement with the Embassy and its stakeholders, and the development of communication products such as presentations, workshops and policy briefs.Manage relationships with DFAT and key stakeholders through effective co-ordination, liaison and communication.Support the Facility Director in his technical and policy advice duties.Full Terms of Reference for the positions can be downloaded at https://www.ladlf.org/work-with-us-1 Applications should be sent to Ms. Sengchan Phachoomphon, Sengchan.Phachoomphon@ladlf.com, no later than 04 December 2019.
